I would be very grateful for any help - have spent the day getting v stressed about which plants to order online and now worried if messed it up.

I have ordered one of these

www.crocus.co.uk/plants/_/stachys-officinalis-hummelo/classid.2000012355/

It's to fill an approx 70cm gap so I just bought one as that is shown as the eventual size, but then I noticed they come in a 9cm pot - tiny! Will one plant really grow that big? Or do I need to buy a few and plant in a group? Confused

TIA for any sage (boom tish) advice.

I tend to plant in threes; one tiny 9cm pot will take a while to fill a space. You can always split the plants when they’ve grown.

Thank you!

My garden is a testament to people who clearly either didn't read the labels, or who disbelieved them. Lovely plants in completely the wrong place, I have had to haul out loads. Yes, a salvia will reach that size, and ime they do it fast. I would slip an annual or two in the gaps this year and let it do it's thing.
