It's called May PomPoms in our house! (Not helpful...) also interested to find out what it's really called!

efeslight · 06/05/2018 10:40

Think its called thrift

Harebellmeadow · 06/05/2018 11:59

Seaside thrift. Likes / tolerates dry areas.

Aka armeria maritima

PicklingGherkins · 06/05/2018 12:03

They're beautiful!!

ArtyBat · 06/05/2018 12:20

Yep, Thrift, or sometimes called Sea Pink too. I have it throughout my garden and love it.

efeslight · 06/05/2018 20:40

I also have it my garden but neglect it. Should i feed it, cut it back? Any tips gratefully received. Its in an area that can get very hot in the summer.

efeslight As it's often found on the edges of cliffs it's a tough little plant. I water mine when I water the rest of the garden, and never cut it back. It's a good one for rockeries and gravel gardens.

Thanks peapod

I've just bought a load of these to top up the ones I experimented with last year. They are lovely, I have white ones. Evergreen grass that spreads and then the flowers. Trim the stalks when they die and more appear
