Can anyone identify this plant in my MIL's garden? Perennial, similar to sweet corn?

They have berries later on in the year which are toxic, so they might need to bear that in mind.

Definitely lords and ladies/Aron’s rod (slightly funny names if you think about it ☺️). I have lots of it but didn’t know it would be toxic to my cats. Thanks MrsBert I will check.

To be fair, my garden is infested with the bloody stuff (it gets everywhere) and the cat hasn't died, but she's not really a cat to go sneaking in the bushes.
