Grass/plant identy help!

Can anyone help me identify this please? I stupidly though it was a tulip last year as the roots were bulb like so I moved it to a sunny border edge. It obviously likes it's new home and now developed into some sort of grass but I have no idea how big it's going to grow or if it will spread so I may need to move it again. It's currently about a foot high and wide. Advice appreciated x

Looks similar to the carex or molinia grasses that like damper areas.

Looks like pendulous sedge...seeds itself everywhere given the chance

It’s sedge. It seeds everywher and grows huge, if you let it. I’d get rid.

Oh dear, I just looked up pendulous sedge and it looks like that's it. I'm definitely not looking for any self seeding plants so it'll be coming back out asap I think! Thank you x
