Is this a herb?

Honestly I've a brain like a sieve. Planted a good few herbs in this spot over time but I keep forgetting what's where.

Is this oregano? Or a rogue invader?

(The one with the red bits - the other I know is feverfew (I got some plant markers!!))

Is this a herb?

Definitely not oregano (or at least any variety I've seen).

You didn't plant beetroot did you?

fourpawswhite · 04/05/2018 17:59

I don't think it's oregano. Could be beetroot or Swiss chard?

PurpleWithRed · 04/05/2018 18:00

If not beetroot then sorrel?

PestymcPestFace · 04/05/2018 18:00

Looks like red sorrel.

It looks like Red Veined Sorrel to me. Search Sorrel for a good picture and see if you think it is a match.

Yes Bloody Sorrell.

MiniDoofa · 04/05/2018 18:01

Definitely not oregano (which has much smaller leaves and no red). I'd say either beetroot or chard. Smile

Thank you!!! I'd completely forgotten I'd planted sorrell. I recall it now though.

Keep an eye on it - the leaves are pretty, but it can self-seed very successfully.
