Anyone's Dahlias sprouting?

I always leave my dahlias in the garden and so far haven't lost any but this year there's no sign of life.

I dug up a few tubers and they look firm and ok but not a sign of a shoot.

I've bought a few new tubers and they were already sprouting in the packets.

Just wondered if anyone else's have started in the garden yet.

No shoots here, but I have no expectation of any as I only started them from seed last year. So no idea if they would survive underground.

Hang fire, we're a few weeks late this year.
Fingers crossed they'll be sprouting within a month.
Mine are just starting (South East).

Nope not a sign here, I planted some tubers in large containers at the beginning of April so it might take a few more weeks yet.

Garden ones, no, but the ones in the unheated greenhouse are only just showing.

Glad it's not just mine, it's seemed such a long winter.

mine neither. though the ones i've grown from seed this year currently look good, if the weather over the next few days doesnt kill them (they are covered in fleece)

I overwintered mine in a cold greenhouse, potted them up a couple of weeks ago, and all but 1 has sprouted . But still putting them back in the greenhouse overnight. It's just so cold

The ones in pots in tunnel are growing well but no signs of growth from the plants in the ground. I did whiffle the earth away around a couple of them and the tubers were hard so I am still hoping
