What is wrong with my olive tree?

I bought a very small olive tree 2 weeks ago and it is dying already. It has had water and it has been inside, is this wrong?
Or is it just my touch of death?

what's it in? iirc they can't bear clay-ey soils

have you overwatered it ?

Was about to say same NDP. They don't need much water.

Not sure about the soil, it is in the pot it came in and the coil is quite pale, I don't think it was over watered however I am admitting general cluelessness

Should I just stick it in the back garden and let it fend for it self?
