Squash Tromboncino seeds not growing

Has anyone any advice as to why these seeds are not growing?

I've followed instructions on packet, planted 4 lots and none are growing. I have a greenhouse full of courgette and other squash seedlings but cannot get these to grow!

I'm going to try again, but would welcome any tips or advise in case I need to do something differently Wink

I have grown these this year and they shot out like rats up a drainpipe by far the most enthusiastic squashes I've grown, I didn't give them any special treatment. So I would assume it is the seeds that are at fault not the conditions where did you buy them and how long ago?

Oh that's interesting! It's a packet of suttons seeds, only purchased about a month ago and from a country store (mole valley).

I shall try again and fingers crossed they work, if not they can go back!

I've not had problems with tromboncino, though a bit more warmth sometimes helps with germination of anything.

Yip mine were Suttons too and I bought them last year!

Are they easy to grow, do they need a greenhouse? They look fantastic!

They're easy to grow though need strong support. No need for a greenouse.

Brilliant thank you!
