There’s a fairly significant drop on two sides of my garden, which is also on a slope, so some parts of my garden are extremely well drained.
I have a 10 x 3 m flower bed, which is in the driest part of the garden, that I’m looking to fill and am hoping for some suggestions for what might work here.
Some more specifics:
- the soil is neutral and reasonable quality
- the bed gets sun all day long
- wind speeds can be an issue at times
- there are some nice views beyond this bed, so I don’t really want anything higher than 1.5-1.8 m high
The main things that are doing well at the moment are roses, bulbs (tulips, alliums etc) and ornamental thistles. But there’s got to be more!
