Pet friendly weed killer?

Just that really. Got a bit of patio in my garden and loads of weeds growing between the paving stones. Would love to just spray the lot with weed killer but I have a cat and don't want any harm to come to him. Are there pet friendly weed killers out there or do I just need to pull them out by hand? TIA!Smile

Roundup claims that there is no risk to pets, (or to any wildlife including insects and worms) but that they should be kept off treated areas until they dry so they don't tread the poison onto the lawn etc.

It's nasty stuff though. I'd try to avoid using it.

It's like neonicotinoids and bees. The lab tests all showed they didn't kill bees, but once it was out there, it became apparent that it fucked up bees' navigation, so they couldn't get back to hives with forage.

So, I keep use to a minimum, and do most by hand. It's a lot easier to pull weeds when the ground is wet.

We just bought a weed burning wand from Aldi for this very reason! Not tried it yet, but as long as I don't set fire to the animals it should be fairly safe 😄

I'd like to know too. We've got creeping buttercup all over our lawn.
