Salvia Blue Note

I have this as a small shrub. Does anyone know how to
look after it?
It’s survived a few years where I planted it (sheltered semi shade )
but it’s looking a little straggly.
Should I cut it back ? Or move it?
Thanks

I have it, and have cut it back recently. It also seems to self seed! Mine is grown in full sun, as most Salvias prefer sun. I'm not sure if it would survive a move, but cut it back by all means. (It's a lovely blue, isn't it!)

yes its colour is amazing!
I was hoping to give it more sun by moving it but maybe i will take some cuttings instead.
I have given it a light trim. Its grown to about 1 or 1.5 ft so I think thats the biggest it will get.
