Anyone know where I can get some decent ones that last longer than a year ? Don't mind paying a bit if they actually last

Wilko last for ages, all through the rain, snow and wind.

Was going to suggest Wilkos as the reviews look good. Will be buying some myself.

Aldi: I have a set that have been going for five years now. Literally. They're in a tree at the end of the yard and come on very night. They must be good as the plastic has had to endure the full Aussie afternoon sun, which is a killer in the summer.

I second Aldi.
They have them at the moment

Over time damp gets into them and they need a little lean out. There is often a screw that lets you get to the battery. Open it up. Make sure it is all clean in there and bright lights again! Dont throw them away without trying this first.
