Shrub id please

Can anyone tell me what this shrub is please? We have two next to each other - look like two colour variants of the same thing. Thank you!

They are Hebes, the first one will probably have purple flowers and the second could have pink or white.

Thank you both! Looks like hebes are pretty hard to kill which is excellent news given my lack of green fingers.
