Not v good pics I'm afraid and I don't think zooming in on them has helped the clarity .

There is a bit of forget me knot and an aconite flower in one pic if that helps with the scale .

Are the leaves slightly sticky or Velcro-like? If so, WEEEED! Looks a bit like cleavers to me, but I think it's still a bit early for cleavers.

Cleavers is edible, though. I haven't tried it, but I might try making cleavers tea when it inevitably raises its pretty little sticky head in my garden later this year.

It's not cleavers ,I have plenty of that for comparison .

The leaves are dark green and glossy .

Sorry the pics are really bad !

Chickweed maybe?! Confused not sure!

The ones that are more advanced look like a type of euphorbia, some varieties can be quite small.

Thank you all .I think JT has it - woodland spurge/euphorbia .

It ^is* quite pretty at the moment while tiny and not in clumps .However....an eye will have to be kept .

Spurge can cause skin irritations, so if you’re pulling it up, please wear gloves.
