Moving an established Pyrocanthus

I have a pyrocanthus bush growing just by my front door. It is quite tall (and has been there for at least 10 years) and I think I may have to dig it out for building work. Do you think it will survive re-siting? I am planning on putting more of these bushes round my boundaries at the back as we had an intruder last week. Any advice gladly accepted. Thanks in advance.

Yes dead easy. I moved 4 last year. My tip is that if you have to cut any root, take a corresponding amount of growth.

Thank you!

Yes, I think you can move it no problem. Although it wasn't until the 4th time we moved ours that it actually stopped growing in the original position Smile. We now have 4 bushes.

That sounds like a good deal! Smile
