Brown leaves on dragon plant - why?

I got a dragon plant a few weeks ago and it's been looking quite sad of late, and the leaves are turning brown. I water it when the first cm or two goes dry. It gets plenty of light. What am I doing wrong?

Do you keep it on a windowsill or near a radiator?

It might be scorch from sunlight or heat. How long have you had it?

Thank you for your reply @silverbirches I've had it a month or two. It was in the kitchen and somewhere relatively shaded until recently, when I moved it to a sunnier spot (a metre from a south-facing window) to try to revive it! It's not that near a radiator (again, about a metre away, and radiator isn't always on anyway).

If it isn't scorch, then it could be that the air is just too dry in that spot.

It is also possible that you've overwatered it, the symptoms for too wet and too dry can be similar.
