I need to replace 3 box balls which ha e succumbed to box blight. I have looked at Yew instead but 70cm domes/balls are about £300 each!! Can I get them any cheaper or is there something else I could use?

Ilex crenata (large topiary ball)

Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Golf Ball' (large to medium topiary ball)

Pittosporum tobira 'Nanum' (medium topiary ball)

Hebe 'Emerald Gem' (small topiary ball)

I saw a magazine feature where teucrium had been used to replace box that had succumbed to blight.
