Morrisons garden centre bargains!

Has anyone had a look in their Morrisons garden centre lately?

Ours has so many great bargainous plants - same as last year! I'm looking forward to more arriving, at the moment it's just a few stands but they'll multiply by April/May.

I was eyeing up a prunus kojo-no-mai, might have to go back and get one Flowers

The £1 hardy fuchsias I bought last year are showing signs of coming back to life Smile

Is this the outsidey type bit, or the shelves inside?
I got some lovely bargains last year from the outsidey bit and am hoping it has opened again...

(Assuming the timings are broadly the same across the country)

It's the outsidey bit! Ours has only been open for a couple of weeks (SE). Most of the plants are filling the inside shelves with the overflow outside, perhaps ours opened a little early for this reason. I don't think the tillpoint is in place yet and if it's the same as last year it should double or triple in size.

My first post sounded like I work for Morrisons GrinBlush

That is very exciting news Grin

And you don't sound like you work for Mozza's, you sound like you like buying plants.

Herts! I don't have any other Morrisons to compare. I wondered if they might only be doing it at certain stores Confused

Great reminder. I must get down there. I got some great things a few years ago, and always need more plants. The only problem I found was that they didn't always have many of the things I was looking for. I needed multiples, and ended up travelling round to all the Morrison's Stores I could feasibly get to! I also found that they had different things in all the time so needed to keep going and checking.

Oooh yes. I have got lots of things from Morrisons and if they don't do very well, well they are usually only £1 or £2. Definitely worth the punt.

Their clematis at £1.79 last year were particularly good. (I may have bought about 7 of them)

My mum is the master of taking some end of line things that look pathetic to the customer service counter at Morrisons and making them an offer 😂 She has stocked her back yard this way.
