So we have been in our rented house for nearly 2 years. The landlady has promised to sort the garden and plant the borders since we moved in. She's never got round to it. We've finally decided we will give her the last chance before we just sort it ourselves how we previously agreed it would be done.
Anyway, the 'grass' is 80% moss. The ground, especially along the fence line is very boggy and next doors overhanging tree and the incessant leaves falling on our side and the landlords refusal to have it cut back, don't help.
I've bought some positively reviews stuff from wilkos. It's meant to kill moss and lay grass seed, and then you rake away the dead moss and the grass grows. So I've sprinkled that all over as per the instructions but I'm not sure how optimistic I am as that it will give us an actual lawn.
My question is this, short of getting a professional in or turfing the whole thing (not an option), what if anything can I do to help?
