Plant ID - weed?!

Is anyone able to help me identify these plants? It’s the long thin grass like clumps I’m looking at (not the snowdrops and daffodils!). They’re growing throughout the flower beds and I’m not sure whether I should be removing them or not!

Some of them seem to have a small purple flower starting to grow in the middle....

Thanks 🙂

Look like grape hyacinths to me.

Aren't grape hyaciniths very invasive ? Like a weed ??

Crocus?

Sprout about now along with daffys and snowdrops etc.
Come in wide range of colours.

They are grape hyacinth and do like to spread themselves about a bit. They are quite pretty and worth having for some early colour in the garden. If have too many or just don’t like them they are easy enough to weed out. Just lift out the small bulb but you will probably find a few baby bulbs excspe and pop up next year.
Weeds are just any plant that is growing somewhere you don’t want it.

Thank you all. I’ve looked up grape hyacinths and they certainly do look like those. I’m not sure whether to remove them or not now! The long leaves look so untidy in the spots they’re growing but if they’re going to flower I’m sure they’ll be lovely. Maybe I’ll just thin them out a little!

They are lovely and I am very envious. I have ONE in my garden!
