We are going to pressure wash the floor of our back yard in preparation for turning it into a garden or sorts!

I am also going to clean the silver painted fire escape (we live in an apartment), which is quite slimey green and covered in dirt.

I had intended on scrubbing the escapte manually, as it is really quite dirty, and then pressure wash it do clear the dirt away from the steps, make it sparkly clean.

Can I pressure wash it instead? I dont want to spend hours scrubbing if the pressure washer will do the same job, but dont want to pressure wash and then find I should have done it the other way . Its not ours and we need to give it back in a day or so.

Many thanks!

No harm in trying a small section with the pressure washer to see if it can clean it. I recently cleaned my car and garden path with a pressure washer which I borrowed. The path was very dirty and I didn't have to do anything other than spray it.
