Umbrella Plant

I've inherited this umbrella plant and don't like the shape of it. If I take cuttings at the base of each branch will they continue to grow?

Short answer yes, but your plant looks like it’s suffering from lack of water and light.
Not a criticism, as I neglected one in my classroom for years! When I left I cut it down(about 7ft) took it home repotted, fed and watered it. Loads of new sprouts appeared. Looks fine now.
