No gardening experience, just moved into a property and this is taking up a lot of space!

Ordinary ivy. But looks mature, and if high up or in a shady spot forms big heart shaped leaves - the arboreal form. It's invaluable for wildlife as it provides nesting places and roosts for birds, homes for invertebrates and also has berries providing winter food for animals.

If you could leave it alone I probably would but your choice of course.

poison ivy doesn't grow in UK.
