I get the whiteflies every year through out summer especially on my climber above my door.I do the recommended sprayinge etc but they just won't go away !! i thunk they kill all the potted and window box plants too.
is there anything else I should or could be doing?

Have the same problem, this year I have been using soapy water in a spray bottle and it raelly does work.
It's meant to suffocate them and the soap make the plant to slippy for them to grip.

We have so many green and white fly this year, I have never had this many. I am going to try the soapy water spray, how diluted should it be and what exactly should I use?

I used some soapy water and it did nothing!
I used washing up liquid and water before I went out. When I came home, the greenfly were everywhere again.
I have gone over everything with a bug spray this afternoon in the hope to get rid of them.
