I use washing-up liquid solution in a spray bottle but I have to do it every day to keep on top of them.

Evil little things, sucking all the goodness out of my roses

reluctant to use anyting stronger though...

Apparantly planting garlic/chives/catmint does, not tested it though

i sprayed my infested shrub thing with washing up liquid water a week ago and went to check today and they were all dead, but a few new ones were accumilating alongside the dead ones.
i also moved all the spiders i could find from my washing line (which is always plastered in the the 8 legged feckers!) to the infestation site as they make webs between the branches and also patrol the branches, eating as they go!
they seem to be doing a good job.
i could payperdrop you some if you like! lol

I always put a cover of thin net curtains or tights over my veg to stop them settling, my mum uses washing up liquid, makes it up thick so its very throffy.
