Obelisk in large pot-issue

I've got a passion flower growing up an obelisk in a large pot. The obelisk isn't overly secure on the pot as I couldn't force it in enough, so if you try to move the pot, it gets a bit wobbly.

If I train the flower around the obelisk will that help to make it more secure? I don't want to move it again, so really hope it will be ok!

I think this is quite a common problem, I have something similar with clematis in a pot.
Have you tried securing the bottom with metal tent pegs? Of course it would depend on having a horizontal band on your obilisk.

That's a brilliant idea, thank you! I do have some tent pegs that I used elsewhere in the garden, so will try with them at the weekend, if they're too short I'll see if I can find some longer ones.
The obelisk does have a horizontal band, so fingers crossed this will sort it out.
Thank you again!
