Autumnal plants or shrubs recommendations?

Hi, I know Autumn isn't the best time to plant but wanting some tips on your best Autumnal plants or shrubs I can plant in my garden border.

It can be a good time to plant shrubs. The soil is still warm. I'm off to buy some lavender right now. I've also got a viburnum going in soon.

Winter pansies,cyclamen and winter flowering heathers, nerines and asters.

Ceratostigma willmottianum, amazing bright blue flowers. Some abelias continue flowering into autumn - scented, pink/white.
