Plant advice for plant killer

Hi, looking for advice please for this plant. I am dreadful with plants despite my best efforts. I was gifted this plant so don't know what it is. Tje person who gave it to me vaguely said something about Seychelles but that's about all I know. It has lived/survived on my balcony for the last 3 months, I water it every couple of days and feed it with generic plant food once a week.

It's getting a bit chilly here so have brought it inside or do you think it should be back out in the fresh air? Have attached photos (I hope). The leafs...should they look like this, sort of leaf, split leaf...and some are growing in a spiral. I would like to keep this alive so any help is really appreciated!

2nd picture (red/green leaf) shows the leaf-split-leaf thing, wasn't sure how to describe it. And above is one growing in a twist/spiral

It looks like Codiaeum, sometimes called Croton - it's a subtropical plant, so definitely needs to be indoors now, see this: www.rhs.org.uk/Plants/43307/Codiaeum-variegatum-var-pictum-(v)/Details and google for more info.
