Plant ID - weed or not??

Please help me ID this. It's growing at the base of my wisteria. I thought it was a weed but as I went to pull it I notice it has small fruit looking things growing - almost like tiny tomatoes...

I think it might be Black nightshade - Solanum nigra. Not deadly! But def a weed and best got rid of.

The leaves are too smooth for black nightshade. I think they're ordinary potatoes.

Even with those berries on them?

Yes, they are 'potato apples', the fruiting body of a potato plant.

that is not a potato. but yes a nightshade.

I pulled it up.
