A good garden centre - in Devon we have Trago Mills, but B&Q, Homebase, or similar will do.

We have black bamboo, which is much less invasive than some varieties. What sort of effect are you aiming for?

I saw some black bamboo recently at a local garden centre and it was gorgeous.

it's for screening infront of driveway gates to make the reclaimed driveway feel more part of the garden. I've tried Homebase and they only seem to have the golden ones and I would like either black or bissetti. I'm struggling to find troughs and bamboo that aren't setting me back hundreds.

hadn't thought of B&Q - will look there later. Have tried Wyevale and they had very little stock.
