Me and DH chopped down a lilac and a massive prickly tree which I think might be pyracantha(?) today. It has made the world of difference to our garden and now I can't wait to get out there tomorrow and dig up the roots and plant some nice shrubs.

Our neighbours have trellis fencing and I want some privacy so I will be putting up a bit of bamboo screening until the plants grow up a bit.

I love spring!

DH cut down a really thick holly tree today so I have more light on the veg garden now. Have tons of stuff to put in this week. And it's still sunny at 7pm. Tra la la lovely spring la la la.

Enjoy your shrubs!

We moved some roses and repaved our walkway. We were out planting shrubs last weekend and reseeding the grass.

Spring sunshine is SO great
