Runner beans now pulled up - what next?

The recent winds have buggered up my runner beans, but I have plenty tucked away in the freezer so pulled them up today. will sow some spring cabbage (Durham early), any other ideas? It's only a small plot and I'm not interested in salady type things.

Chard has been great for me. Cavalry nero looks fantastic but gets big so if space is really limited it might not work. Similarly purple sporting broccoli is great but needs space. You might be ok sowing seeds still for these but seedling plugs are usually available in garden centres if it's a bit late for sowing.

Also if you are growing flowers too, loads of hardy annuals do really well from an autumn sowing (I've grown cornflowers, cerinthe, Californian poppies, ammi from late august/September showings)
