Hi all, I've been given some seedlings from a friend's cotoneaster, it is a large shrub with arching branches and has oval darkish-red berries.
Please does anyone know which variety it might be?

Sorry, I don't know OP, but also just asked a question about a Cotoneaster. Maybe it's the same one? Mine does weep and has red berries, it's a Cotoneaster Lacteus

C simonsii maybe ??

Ah - yes Trethew it could be simonsii, thanks. Either that or some sort of hybrid. The bush is over 30 years old I think, and has dozens of little seedlings under it.
