Coleus?

oh I'm now googling coleus - some beautiful ones but can't find anything that looks exactly like this.

I was wondering because I would like the same thing at home. the wife of a colleague gave it to me but she doesn't know what it is or where it's from - picked it up a plant fair so no way to go and ask.

I have a big white bowl thing at home and thought this would be a nice display if I could pot a few in there. Also, if it can survive in our horrible hot office, sitting next to our computers etc, it seems like it will do well in my horrible hot home

I agree with TheMasterNotMargarita. Its Fittonia or Nerve Plant.

ooh yes that seems likely. And they have other colours. Though the big white bowl seems well suited to all the one colour....

...and it needs humidity too, so hot and dry will kill it.
