Peas Please

hello i'm new to veggie gardening and my sugar snap edible pod peas have done very well. several pods are now ready to harvest.
my question is, if I harvest the peas will it stimulate the plant to continue flowering (like nasturtiums)
I have a grandchild coming to visit in 10 days and I would love for her to be able to pick her own peas.

If you leave too many peas to mature on the plant, it does suppress development of further peas. We've been picking ours every day for several weeks now, and they just keep coming. You should pick all the ones you can now, and in 10 days time I'm sure there will be lots more.
