Can anyone identify this for me?

Hi,
I wondered if anyone might know the name of this tree please?

We bought it about 4 years ago and it has tripled in size, the garden centre I remember had all sizes some quite large.
Thing is we are moving house soon and I'd like to buy another one for our new garden but we can't remember for the life of us what it's called.

Thanks in advance.

Not sure what it is called, but if you are moving take some cuttings. If it has tripled in size in 4 years, cuttings will soon root.

I can't help but I wanted to find out what one of mine was and I downloaded an app for plant identification and uploaded a photo there and got an answer quickly. You can then delete the app after.

Maybe a variety of ficus?

PickAChew · 29/06/2017 23:41

I was thinking ficus, to. Do the leaves ooze white sap, when you break them off?

Bougainvillea?

tinkitonki · 29/06/2017 23:54

No sap no, it's a very dry tree, even if you snap a branch it's woody rather than wet, oh and probably stating the obvious but it's completely bald in Autum/winter.

I'm not even sure where I could take a cutting from (I'm far from green fingered) as it's just one main trunk so to speak.

I have posted on a couple gardening forums but drawn a blank, I'll see if I can find an app Refilona, thanks.

It's Robinia pseudoacacia Lace Lady (or maybe Lacy Lady - can't remember)
