Please help ID these plants!

Please help me ID these plants and if possible an idea of how to trim them? They were here when we bought the house but they're very overgrown now and annoy me every time I look at them!! Thanks in advance xxx

The yellow one is known as Mexican Orange blossom and can be trimmed now, you can so this by cutting the height, but also taking out some of the long stems and thinning it. Next year it will flower on this year's growth. I'd wear gloves when cutting they're a bit sappy.

The second one is either a Yucca or New Zealand flax. It probably has more than one stem, so it just cut out what you don't want, again wear gloves.
