A self-set plant that I could put in the garden or send to a charity plant sale.
I sort of recognise it (white flowers? Red berries?) but can't name it, and I need to look up how it looks and how big it gets before I decide what to do with it.

Looks more like kerria to me.

Vibernum perhaps.

Trethew · 27/06/2017 00:42

My first guess would be a viburnum, possibly rhytidophyllum. It's usually a darker green but your specimen may be a bit underfed and anaemic

Second guess would be Cotoneaster salicifolius.

Not certain of either, but both have white flowers and red berries

I think it's a type of spirea.

Thanks to all who replied.

The viburnum rhytidophyllum (or a very similar species) was correct, I think.
