Bloody rabbits!

We have a big rabbit problem, we're in rural area and they're everywhere and it's impossible to install rabbit proof fencing. I've planted some new borders with plants off the RHS rabbit-proof list including choisya, bay, box, hydrangea and lavender...but the little buggers are already chomping down on them.

Wondering about planting a massive patch of stuff as a rabbit restaurant, to keep them away. Is there anything that is irresistible to rabbits that will grow quickly and prolifically in a woodland border? I wish they loved ground elder or nettles, i've got loads and loads of that!

Just came in to see five of them munching on my new white hydrangeas, am starting to feel murderous...

We're just about to pull out our back fencing (after one of the dogs got out yesterday) and refence the whole lot.

Our plan is to dig a trench and concrete in sheep fencing with a double layer of chicken wire. With the chicken wire on our garden side. We've got small breed dogs and they wriggle through the holes the rabbits have made. It won't stop the rabbits from burrowing under the concrete but it'll keep the dogs in.

I've seen suggestions to make an L shape at the bottom of the fence so that there's wire flat on the ground where the rabbits try to dig under the fence.

This is the little horror that got out!

That looks frighteningly impressive. I think the warren is on our land, so I'm worried that fencing will keep the horrors in!!!

Just bumping this because the rabbits have left me with stumps after an all-you-can-eat buffet last night. I'm feeling like Jack Nicholson in The Shining or Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction

The only method we've found effective is an air rifle...
