Surprise bush

I've had a weedy bush growing in a corner of the garden for years and I've always hacked it down so it never got too out of hand.

I've neglected the garden this year and let it get a bit big. I've just gone to tame it and noticed it has berries growing all over!

Can anyone identify what it is? I'm guessing something like redcurrant?

Yes it is a currant. Possibly white bearing in mind my blackcurrants are already black...and there is no sign of red in those.
