environmentally friendly weed killing?

I'm quite relaxed about weeds but our driveway is beyond a joke. You can hardly see the car.

Not sure I have the will or the stamina to dig them all out the hard way, but is my only other option nasty weedkiller? Any advice on more environmentally approaches that won't break my back?

Thank you!

Kill them with fire!

Seriously. You can get flamethrower wands for weeds.

Vinegar, salt and baking soda work, apparently.

No way!?! Ha ha. My inner fire eater likes that idea.

Boiling water from the kettle poured onto small driveway weeds works well. I think you might need something a bit more drastic to clear it first though if they have got very big.

Thanks JT05, I'll look into that.

We use salt, works brilliantly and cheap as chips

I have all sizes, Lindy2, so the small ones I might boil!
