Climbing honeysuckle help

At the advice of mumsnetters, I am growing evergreen honeysuckle on a trellis to try to screen next doors conservatory. It's grown very quickly and the highest shoot has reached the top of the trellis. Do I cut it so it doesn't hang over and encourage more growth from the base of the plant? Or weave it across/downwards?

I would try to untangle it and see if you can bend it across at an angle from much lower down.

Ideally you try to angle all of the main shoots across ways, because this encourages them to put out little side shoots upwards, which makes the screening effect.

Ahah! I will do this, thank you!
