hedge advice needed!

sorry to be thick but I need to grow a hedge does anyone know how to. I need it to grow about 4 foot (ob I know that once it gets that high then I need to trim it!)

Hornbeam makes a good hedge, but maybe you'd prefer an evergreen or something more ornamental?

The way you treat the hedge depends on the plant it's made out of, so you need to start with an idea of what sort of hedge you'd like and how tall & how fast you want it to grow.
