Hi, I saw pictures of this plant online but can't work out if it is real or a very good fake plant.

It looks like a real plant which has been photo shopped to add colour, the blue and pink don't look right.

It looks like a Bunny Ears grass (more correctly hare's tail/lagurus something) that's been dyed in horrible colours. Hideous in my view but each to their own.

Thank you, I totally agree it's not everyone's taste. My daughter is planting a fairy garden and it looks similar to plants she painted in her plans.

I think they put the dye in the water. They do it to heathers and orchids too. I had to bite my lip at tescos yesterday when a couple decided to buy a pair of lurid blue ones Blush. I think for a fairy garden or a children's Easter display it could work.

No help about that plant but here is my fairy plant: tiarella
flowers are whitespark looking, the buds are pink.

Have you seen the bi-colour Buddleai ? would be ideal for a fairy garden.
