It's an aquilegia - mostly found in traditional cottage garden type schemes, and you can buy them in various shades of pink, purple, white and yellow at garden centre or plant seeds.

These are almost black.
We have a very overgrown garden that is gifting us the most amazing finds now I'm clearing it. It hasn't been touched for about six years since the last farmer lived here. It's a huge job but I'm enjoying it (so far!)

The common garden name for them is Granny's Bonnet
