What has happened to my trees?

My magnolia and another droopy tree I have, both seem to have suddenly acquired dying leaves. Does anyone know what this is? Are they diseased or something else?

Could be frost damage.

Thanks pansy, would I need to do anything about this or just let it sort itself out?

I'm not a natural gardener but am tying to look after the one I inherited with my house.

Just snip off the affected leaves and keep an eye on them, if it is frost they will soon recover.

Thank you! I will give them a trim up this weekend then.

Its been an incredibly dry spring- I'd try watering them before doing anything drastic!
