Middle one looks like geranium (cranesbill)?

And the one on the L could be strawberry?

(Disclaimer - I don't know very many plants Grin)

Picture 3 looks like wood Aven, a wild flower version of a Geum. The flowers are small and yellow on long stalks.
It's a bit of a nuisance, I'd get rid. The other does look like a geranium.

Theworldisfullofidiots · 03/05/2017 07:52

I think number one might be a buttercup. No 2 is definitely a geranium.

titchy · 03/05/2017 07:52

First one is definitely strawberries - leave them!

Rojak · 03/05/2017 14:52

Thank-you - will leave 1 & 2 and google wood aven :)

Hmm, difference of opinion here - I don't think 1 is a strawberry - I think that's wood avens aka herb bennett! (I've got both in my garden, far too much of the latter Angry).

Agree that 2 looks like a geranium.

LapdanceShoeshine · 03/05/2017 15:49

Halsall there's a similar discussion on a forum in MSE (I went googling because I wasn't at all sure) & it pretty much splits between strawberry/wood avens Grin

Consensus was wait & see if it grows strawberries!

My money's on wood avens.

Rojak · 05/05/2017 06:56

I think it's probably a wood aven too - the area is a bit too dry and shady for strawberries I think.

Number 1 is definitely strawberry
Number 3 is definitely wood avens

Number 2 is a type of geranium, it might be the one that self seeds easily with tiny pink flowers. Watch it for flowers and if they appear to be very small then whip the whole plant out and replace with something more satisfying.

TroysMammy · 07/05/2017 08:35

I'd say no 1 is a buttercup looking at the leaves on the left of the photo.

JeNeSuisPasVotreMiel · 07/05/2017 15:28

I take my previous statement back now I've got my glasses on.
Number1 is a buttercup. Get rid. They spread like mad.
