We have a manky area of the garden. It gets no sun at all.
Once we get rid of the basketball net.... I need to improve this bit.
I was thinking rockery??
We do t actually like flowers, we're more into different shades of green and textures.
Could anyone suggest anything to help?

Why not build a fernery, a bit like a rockery, but with ferns. The Victorians were keen on them.

Vinca is shade tolerant and the flowers are pretty but not showy. They're low maintenance too. If happy they'll form a lovely spreading mat of beautiful glossy leaves. A couple of my favourites are:
Vinca minor 'Argenteovariegata' (blue picture) and
Vinca difformis (white picture). Both are Lesser Periwinkle.

I like ferns!
Can I use any? It's quite dry there.
I also like those shrubs too. Every time I go to a garden centre the little tags always say partial or full sun so I refuse to buy them
