Plant/weed ID

Can anyone identify this? I've recently planted a lot of summer bulbs but this seem to be appearing in places I haven't planted them. My friend seems to think they may be poppies but I haven't planted them in places that they've appeared. Hesitant to pull them up in case they are something!

I think they are poppies as well they lie dormant in the soil for years and when the soil is disturbed/ dug over they appear. That is why there were poppies in Flander's fields after all the trenches were dug.

I say poppies, too. Might be wonderful colours!

Thanks. Makes sense as I moved the soil from another part of the garden. I'll post a photo if they come up particularly special!
