Came downstairs middle of the night trod on a slug on the floor Shock squelched between my toes. Noticed slug trail recently in mornings on the mat and carpet area.
Also must have got in the cupboard as slug trail was over my knife block !!! Eeek.
Been to the garden centre as need a pet friendly slug killer - any ideas tips gratefully received. I've found some cracks and holes between carpet and wall and side of skirting I'm going to buy silicone to plug these but in the meantime ..... help !!!! Thank you.

Oh no, that's so disgusting. How do they get in?

alphaechokiwi · 27/04/2017 15:27

When we moved to our house last year, i found slug trails in the kitchen, and the occasional slug also. I've had no more slug issues indoors since i dealt with the slug problem in the garden using Nematodes. I apply once every 6 weeks between spring and the end of autumn. Totally non toxic, environment friendly solution

Wilko do an adhesive copper slug tape for a very reasonabe price. It's slightly serrated along its lower side to help discourage them Smile

I have nothing of use to add to this thread, but can I complain about the relentless UB40 earworm it keeps giving me?
